Swords to Plowshares at Trinity Church

June 14th, 11:00am – 1:00pm. Swords to Plowshares at Trinity Church

Swords to Plowshares –a group that transforms dismantled guns into garden tools and jewelry, will bring its portable forge to Trinity Parish Episcopal Church, 300 Main Street, Old Wethersfield, on Sunday June 14, 11am to 1pm. Community members are invited to watch, and take a few swings at the malleable metal. Items will be on sale at the event. Retired Episcopal Bishop Jim Curry, a founding member of Bishops United Against Gun Violence and co-founder of Swords to Plowshares, will lead the demonstration. See https://www.s2pnortheast.org/.

St. Paul’s Holiday Fair

Join friends and neighbors for a great Wethersfield tradition at St. Paul’s Church as they present their annual Holiday Fair!
Come shopping, have some lunch and spend some quiet time in the church’s Sanctuary. There will be Handmade and Holiday items, Bakery and Cookie Walk, Kitchen Café, Country Store, Grandma’s Attic and Inspiration Garden corner.

Homemade pies and other baked goods will be ideal for your Thanksgiving table. A light lunch will be available for purchase during your browsing.

All proceeds of the fair will benefit St. Paul’s Food Patry and the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) World Hunger Program.
