Memorial Day Parade in Old Wethersfield and Memorial Day Ceremony immediately following in the Village Cemetery.
The parade will step off at 9:00 a.m. and will head west on State Street to Nott Street then to Garden Street. It will then proceed down Garden Street, cross over Church Street and turn left onto Main Street. The Reviewing Stand will be at the intersection of Main Street and Church Street. The parade will end at Hartford Avenue. The Memorial Day Parade Ceremony will take place at the intersection of Main Street and Marsh Street on the grass in front of First Church of Christ.
Organizations interested in marching in the parade may make a request to do so by going to the parade’s website at https://www.wethersfieldct.gov/286/Memorial-Day-Parade click on “Marchers Application Form” on the main page.
Veterans Day Ceremony

Join the Wethersfield Veterans Day Committee, friends, neighbors, and vets for a ceremony to honor all who served for our nation! Ceremony takes place at the Wethersfield High School, 411 Wolcott Hill Road.

Join 1781 Cars on Main for a car show to benefit The Detective Robert ‘Bobby’ Garten Memorial Fund! On Main Street and in the First Church Parking lot, there will be food trucks, raffles, cars, and a lot more. Free for spectators, $20 show car, $50 VIP car (limited spaces). American Veteran’s Traveling Tribute Wall

The Wethersfield Chamber of Commerce is hosting The American Veteran’s Traveling Tribute Wall. It will be arriving on Wednesday, September 10th through Sunday, September 14th at Cove Park, Wethersfield (near DMV).
The Wall is approximately 360′ and the replica of the Washington DC wall.
Please visit as we honor our veterans from World War 1 though the latest conflicts along with a tribute to those lost in 9/11. See Schedule below (subject to change).
