Annual Santa Pancake Breakfast

Join Wethersfield Parks and Recreation for their 34th Annual Santa Pancake Breakfast at the Pitkin Community Center 30 Greenfield Street, Wethersfield CT. Admission, tickets are $8 per person (adults and children pay the same low price). Purchase tickets at the door.

St. Paul’s Holiday Fair

November 22nd, 9:00am – 2:00pm. St. Paul’s Holiday Fair

Join friends and neighbors for a great Wethersfield tradition at St. Paul’s Church as they present their annual Holiday Fair!
Come shopping, have some lunch and spend some quiet time in the church’s Sanctuary. There will be Handmade and Holiday items, Bakery and Cookie Walk, Kitchen Café, Country Store, Grandma’s Attic and Inspiration Garden corner.

Homemade pies and other baked goods will be ideal for your Thanksgiving table. A light lunch will be available for purchase during your browsing.

All proceeds of the fair will benefit St. Paul’s Food Patry and the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) World Hunger Program.

Holiday in the City

December 13th, 8:00am. Holiday in the City

Join the Wethersfield Chamber of Commerce and spend the day in New York City! It Begins with a Deluxe Motorcoach Bus with pick-up at the Keeney Memorial Center at 8am. You arrive on Arthur Ave in the Bronx and enjoy breakfast and shopping in all the small shops. From there, you board the bus again and head over to Times Square in NYC. Spend the day shopping, site seeing, catch a show, and grab a bite to eat. The day is yours. At 6pm board the bus to head home.

Price is $75pp and includes bus transportation and driver gratuity.

Benefiting the Hometown Foundation’s Police K-9 Program

Bring your pup and join The Charles on the lawn for an afternoon of community fun, all for a great cause! Enjoy delicious food and drinks made to order while we raise funds for our four-legged heroes.

The Hometown Foundation’s Police K-9 Program provides fully equipped K-9s, training, and vital support to local and state departments nationwide. Many K-9 units are underfunded and rely on private donations not only for their active service but also for medical care once they retire.

No tickets are required for entry!

October 4th, 10:00am – 4:00pm. 43rd Annual Old Wethersfield Arts and Crafts Fair

Join the Wethersfield Historical Society for a day of community, fun, and celebration in the heart of the oldest and largest historic district in Connecticut. Browse hand-made items, shop for unique gifts, meet the artists, and watch demonstrations from over 90 juried artisans and vendors.

There will be pottery, woodwork, prints, jewelry, textiles, and fabric art, painting, photography, and so much more. Free parking is available along State Street, and adjacent to the DMV. This year food vendors will join the festivities. There will be ice cream for dessert and live music to enjoy.

Back by popular demand, 1 free pumpkin will be given to the first 100 children under age 12. Children can bring their pumpkins to the tent along State Street to decorate them.

Free parking is available along State Street, and adjacent to the DMV. While Google gives the address of Cove Park as 533 Main Street, fair goers would be better served using the Solomon Wells House (220 Hartford Avenue) or the DMV (60 State Street) as a frame of reference.
