Annual Old Wethersfield Arts and Crafts Fair

Wethersfield Historical Society’s Old Wethersfield Arts & Crafts Fair returns to picturesque Cove Park for the 44th time on Saturday, October 3 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Save the date and plan to join us for a day of community, fun, and celebration in the heart of the oldest and largest historic district in Connecticut. (Also the state’s most recently designated Cultural District). Browse hand-made items, shop for unique gifts, meet the artists, and watch demonstrations from over 90 juried artisans and vendors. There will be pottery, woodwork, prints, jewelry, textiles, and fabric art, painting, photography, and so much more. There will be food vendors joining the festivities and live music to enjoy.
Free parking is available along State Street, and adjacent to the DMV. While Google gives the address of Cove Park as 533 Main Street, fair goers would be better served using the Solomon Wells House (220 Hartford Avenue) or the DMV (60 State Street) as a frame of reference.
Annual PorchFest

Join the Old Wethersfield Shopkeepers in the heart of Wethersfield’s historic and cultural district for a day of free music along Main Street on the “porches” of colonial homes/museums, shops, restaurants, and other businesses!
Start the day with free Yoga at 9:15am, then enjoy over 40 bands/musicians throughout the day all along Main Street, Old Wethersfield. Look out for over 90 vendors sprinkled in-between.

The Town of Wethersfield is happy to announce that the annual fireworks celebration is returning on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 at Cove Park in Old Wethersfield. Starting at 5:00 pm, the event will include live music, DJ, activities for kids, food vendors and more. The fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:00 pm.
Free shuttle service will be provided from the Pitkin Community Center (30 Greenfield Street) to the Solomon Welles House. Shuttle bus service will run continuously from 5 pm to 10:30 pm.

Wethersfield Farmers’ Market
May 28th – October 8th, Thursdays 3:00pm – 6:00pm. Wethersfield Farmers’ Market
Come join the community on at 220 Hartford Avenue on the historic Solomon Welles House lawn. They will again feature +30 vendors every week and will have 15 farmers selling every type of CT Grown product. Special events most weeks and live music. Food trucks, trailers, and new vendors offering take-home ready-to-eat gourmet meals. Many Wethersfield businesses and new start-ups will be on hand. Please come out and support them.
