Annual Santa Pancake Breakfast
December 6th, 8:00am – 12:00pm. Santa Pancake Breakfast
Join Wethersfield Parks and Recreation for their 34th Annual Santa Pancake Breakfast at the Pitkin Community Center 30 Greenfield Street, Wethersfield CT. Admission, tickets are $8 per person (adults and children pay the same low price). Purchase tickets at the door.
Includes:
- Freshly Made Breakfast: Pancakes, Sausages, Juice, Milk, Coffee
- Meet and greet with Santa Claus
- “The Big Red Truck” presented by our volunteer Firemen
- Free face painting and crafts
- Vendor Fair in the gym
Wethersfield Parks and Recreation will be accepting donations for Wethersfield Food Bank & Wethersfield Police Department Toy Drive so please consider bring a non-perishable food and/or an unwrapped toy!

Light up Your Neighborhood with Luminary
Light Up Your Neighborhood with Luminaria on Christmas Eve
Join friends, neighbors, and the community in lighting up Wethersfield with special votive candles in sand-lined bags along your property this Christmas Eve.
Luminaries are most beautiful when neighborhoods display them. It is recommended the Luminaries be displayed at the end of your yard 6-10 feet apart along the road.
Each Luminaria kit costs $2.25, and includes the 14 hour candle, special bag and instructions.
Kits are available at Wethersfield Travel, 219 Main Street,
Old Wethersfield now through NOON on Tuesday, December 23rd for use on Christmas Eve.
Become a Captain, and order for your neighborhood!
Light your Luminaria at dusk on Christmas Eve, and they will shine until Christmas morning!
To order your kits call 860-257-3775 prior to pickup, and they will be ready.
All proceeds go to the Keane Foundation, After School Enrichment Programs and the 9/11 Memorial Sports Center.

Come to the historic district of Old Wethersfield to see it lit up and decked out for the holidays! Hosted by the Wethersfield Chamber or Commerce each year for a festive time with community and friends. Entertainment by DJ Skibo & emceed by Renee DiNino and Scot Haney! See Santa and elves along with tree lighting, caroling, horse and carriage rides, and much more! There will be craft and food vendors, juggler, wreaths in the Webb Barn, beer tent, wine tasting, and music. Look out for the local shops and restaurants to have special offers of their own! Source to Sea Cleanup
September 27th, 9:00am – 12:00pm. Annual Source to Sea Cleanup
Join Great Meadows Conservation Trust and the community for the 29th Annual Source to Sea Cleanup at the Wethersfield Cove. Gathering for instructions then break into smaller groups and fan out in all directions of the Cove Park. Wear appropriate footwear for possible muddy conditions. Bring your own gloves or gloves will be provided. Bring a water reusable water bottle for hydration.

American Veteran’s Traveling Tribute Wall

The Wethersfield Chamber of Commerce is hosting The American Veteran’s Traveling Tribute Wall. It will be arriving on Wednesday, September 10th through Sunday, September 14th at Cove Park, Wethersfield (near DMV).
The Wall is approximately 360′ and the replica of the Washington DC wall.
Please visit as we honor our veterans from World War 1 though the latest conflicts along with a tribute to those lost in 9/11. See Schedule below (subject to change).
