Admission is $10 for the general public and free to current Wethersfield Historical Society members. Due to the outdoor nature of the tour\, only cash will be accepted.

SUMMARY:Lantern Light Tours
DESCRIPTION:October 10th\, 11th\, and 12th. The 16th Annual Old Wethersfield Lantern Light Tours\nTours begin at 6:30 pm and continue every 15 minutes until 8 pm. \nJoin Wethersfield Historical Society for the 16th Annual Old Wethersfield Lantern Light Tours on October 10\,  October 11\, and October 12. Characters on this year’s tours are drawn from the tales of true crime and misdemeanors perpetrated by and on real people from Wethersfield’s past. Tours depart from the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center (200 Main Street) every fifteen minutes between 6:30pm and 8:00pm. Tours progress through the historic Hurlbut-Dunham House\, First Church\, and the Ancient Burying Ground. Tickets are $30.00 and are on sale now.  Tickets can be purchased on EventBrite or in person at the Keeney Center (200 Main Street) between 10am and 4pm\, Tuesday through Friday. Ticket quantities are limited to 21 per tour\, so get your tickets early. In the event of inclement weather\, provisions have been made to conduct these tours indoors. WHS Walking Tour: The Broad Street Green \nJoin Wethersfield Historical Society board members and long-time Wethersfield residents Dorene Ciarcia and Betty Standish for a 90-minute walking tour of the southern end of the bucolic Broad Street Green. This tour dovetails nicely with last year’s trek through the northern end. Also on board is Wethersfield Tree Warden Brian Kenny\, to provide information and insight into the stately trees that occupy the green space. \nThe tour departs from the kiosk on Constitution Way at 1:30pm. A $10 per family suggested donation will be collected that afternoon. Due to the location of this event\, only cash will be accepted.
