DESCRIPTION:January 18th\, 3:00pm – 5:00pm. “Parlor Serenade” presented by Modern Vintage Opera and the Wethersfield Historical Society \nModern Vintage Opera presents “Parlor Serenade\,” a winter concert collaboration with the Wethersfield Historical Society set in the lush and moody parlor of the historic Hurlbut-Dunham House in Wethersfield. \nFeaturing acclaimed tenor Daniel Juarez and “captivating” mezzo-soprano Julie Rumbold singing a variety of well-known classics and historical art songs\, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy gala-level voices in an intimate period setting. Alexis Zingale\, nationally-known pianist\, will accompany. \nSeating is limited to 25 for one performance only. Attendees will be treated to a light wine and savories reception after the concert.
