Free parking is available along State Street\, and adjacent to the DMV. This year food vendors will join the festivities. Witch-crafting: Turnip Lanterns \nJoin Rae\, The Replanted Witch\, as we try our hand at carving turnip lanterns\, also known as “neep lanterns\,” a traditional Halloween decoration with roots in Celtic folklore. \nThese little lanterns predate carved pumpkins and were used to ward off evil spirits and mischievous beings during the Samhain season.
