WHS Walking Tour: The Broad Street Green \nJoin Wethersfield Historical Society board members and long-time Wethersfield residents Dorene Ciarcia and Betty Standish for a 90-minute walking tour of the southern end of the bucolic Broad Street Green. This tour dovetails nicely with last year’s trek through the northern end. Also on board is Wethersfield Tree Warden Brian Kenny\, to provide information and insight into the stately trees that occupy the green space. \nThe tour departs from the kiosk on Constitution Way at 1:30pm. A $10 per family suggested donation will be collected that afternoon. Due to the location of this event\, only cash will be accepted.

During this workshop\, we will welcome the Autumn Equinox with movement and craft to invoke the season’s magic. \nThe Autumn Equinox\, also known as Mabon\, represents the season’s harvest and celebrates the balance of light and dark. Mabon is a time to practice letting go\, cultivate gratitude\, and connect with the beauty of nature around us as we welcome the dark part of the year. \nAttendees will craft their own mini besom (cinnamon broom) to tap into the magic of nature and honor the shifting of the seasons. Our movement practice will be an all-levels flow\, rooted in themes of balance\, gratitude\, and letting go.
